I used to be an “only from scratch” baker. Until I discovered King Arthur’s scone mixes. They are all delicious, easy, and there are no artificial ingredients. You do have to add butter, eggs, milk and salt. I’ve never made a batch that wasn’t really delicious. They sell one or two kinds at Hannaford and price chopper sometimes. Better to go to Norwich and shop the whole store! Wonderful chocolate cake and frosting mixes too!
