Oreo Truffles

1 package original type Oreo cookies(currently 14.3 oz)

1 8 oz cream cheese(I use Neufchatel for a few less calories), softened

Chocolate or white almond bark(I find this seasonally at Aldi’s or else Ghirardelli chocolate melts)

1/4 to 1/2 cup white or chocolate chips

Crush Oreos in food processer or blender 1/3 of the package at a time until fine crumbs . Empty into mixer bowl. Use mixer to blend Oreos crumbs and cream cheese at slow speed until well combined. Shape mixture into 1 inch balls placing on waxed or parchment paper lined baking sheet or jelly roll pan and freeze for 15 minutes. Melt the chocolate per directions on package. I use a spoon to dip the balls into the chocolate to cover and then set back on/in pan. When all are done, freeze or refrigerate(1/2 hr) until firm. Melt chips and drizzle over tops in some kind of design. Keep refrigerated.

I usually get around 40 truffles. So you can cover with chocolate or white chocolate or mix.
