Norwegian Almond Torte

Julie Mackaman’s Torte Recipe

¾ c. melted butter
1½ c. sugar
2 eggs
pinch of salt
2 tsp almond extract (the secret ingredient!)
½ tsp vanilla extract
1½ flour
2 T almonds (sliced or slivered)
2 tsp sugar

Mix together in order. Pour into sprayed 8″ or 9″ spring form. Sprinkle on top with almonds and sugar. Bake 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool and enjoy!
